Rye Yacht Club® exists to enhance the skills and enjoyment of sailors, powerboaters and oarsmen.
Rye Yacht Club® is open to new members and members of other local yacht clubs where reciprocal privileges are offered. Membership is free.

Our message board serves to assist local sailors, powerboaters and oarsmen:
* find boating information
* find the best fishing spots or a fishing buddy
* organize a sailing regatta
* find suitable crew for day trips or longer
* plan trips with other members to: a nice beach, restaurant, day trip, weekend away or vacation
* find a kayaking or rowing buddy, or coxswain
* find local boat contractors – all listings are free
* (non-boat owners who want to crew may also register).
Members should regularly post Comments on this website to communicate with other members. Posting a Comment on this website is the simplest way to communicate with all members at one time. Members may also choose to privately email another member using the email address listed in the Membership Roster page.

Rye Yacht Club is starting the 2012 boating season with 151 members and growing. Many members are interested in Rye Yacht Club baseball caps and/or car magnets. Please let me know before Memorial Day weekend if you are interested in receiving them; the cost is free.
Please become comfortable using RyeYC.org. The website exists to encourage neighbors who love boats and boating to meet each other and share the experience. Please also encourage your friends to join Rye YC. We especially need more boat-owning members to join and share boating with the inexperienced and non-boat-owners. Membership in Rye Yacht Club is free.
